Presentation

Jessica De Saedeleer, violin-maker, has taken violinmaking courses with Master Alessandro Voltini at the International School of Cremona where she graduated in 2006. This education was led together with studies of musicology at the ULB (University of Brussels) that she completed with High Grade in 2005. She further improved her technical mastership in the workshop of the Brussels Master violin-maker Thomas Bertrand. In 2007, she was awarded by the Belgian Foundation for Vocation (Fondation Belge de la Vocation), which offered her the opportunity to attend several improvement courses (violinmaking drawing with François Denis, varnishes as well as varnishes’ optic with François Perego, …). Since 2008, she's managing her personal project, called “A-Muse”, enriching her main activity of violinmaking with experiences relating to kinesiology for musicians, to the subjectivity of sound perception and to color effects.

Come in the workshop to play some instrument or in a concert hall on appointment.
